Sports Day Cancelled

Unfortunately due to the down pour of rain overnight we have had to cancel sports day today for health and safety reasons.

Sports Day

Sports day is planned for tomorrow morning, Friday 29th June, providing the weather holds out overnight. Key stage 2 children can wear their kit to school but they must bring their uniform to change into after. Appropriate footwear is essential for all children.

Exmouth Camp Day 4

Update:Thunder storms last night. Camp waterlogged today. None of this prevented us getting into flattering wetsuits and doing a day's worth of surfing, body boarding and skimboarding, and general water fun, all neatly chopped up by power boating around the bay before a lazy sunshine lunch. BBQ tonight (if weather holds) then our own sports day and praise assembly on the beach tomorrow. Traffic permitting, we land Southmead side at about three pm.

Exmouth Camp Day 3

Update from Mr WIllis; 'Early start before the coach took us to the middle of Dartmoor, where we built a bridge and a raft. We stayed dry but then jumped off a pier into a freezing cold lake. Zip wire and obstacles this afternoon. We are just about to have pizza followed by a disco - you know we is gonna throw some shapes.'

Exmouth Camp Day 2

Update from Mr WIllis; Rain has not stood in the way of archery, including clout archery(!), followed by rifle shooting - interspersed by a Devon cream tea. After all of that I am no longer bothered that the girls in the tent next to me were rapping and beat boxing at 5am... Sounds like they're having a fab time away.

Update:
We've arrived safely, had lunch on the beach! Tents are all set up for everyone! We spent the afternoon in the rock pools! Just heading to get showered and then for some tea! The view from the famous Zig Zags!

For the health and safety of the children of Badock's Wood, sports day is postponed until next week.
