Wow! What a busy start to the new school year!
A new ICT suite, new class learning blogs and social networking accounts on the website, a new teacher and so much more, it’s possibly been the busiest start to a school year ever.
First of all, Badock’s Wood School would like to welcome Mr Scaiff, our new Year 5 teacher, and Miss Ford, our new school secretary. We are sure that everyone will make them feel very welcome!
Secondly, in response to parents requests for the school to communicate more, a newsletter will now be sent home every other Thursday. This newsletter can also be downloaded from our website here...
To improve communication further, the school now has accounts on the popular social networking sites, Facebook, Twitter and Bebo.

Before and during the summer holidays, much time and money was spent in building a new state of the art ICT (computer) room for the children and, although there have been a few teething problems, we expect it to be up and running very soon. See some photographs of the computer room being built here...
