Badock’s Wood Primary School today celebrated the achievements of children who took part in both Reading Recovery and Better Reading Partners.
At a special event, attended by parents, volunteers, teachers and adults, 25 children received books and certificates for making such good progress.
Mrs Knight, the Badock’s Wood Reading Recovery teacher, was so pleased with the progress of the children involved she said, “The children are so enthusiastic and love reading now!”.
The intensive one-to-one support of the schemes has shown excellent results and will be continued next year.
